Wrapped up In Books - Bird Children

More from the Elizabeth Gordon series! Bird Children was published in 1912 and it's the 2nd of her little anthropomorphic trilogy. It's past my bed time though, so I'll leave you with some of my favorites ! (and if you want to view them larger, take a peek at my flickr!)

(Please let me know if these photos work and if they do work - are they cropped in your browser? I'm playing around with different photo sizes and I know everyone sees things a little differently depending on what browser you're using!)

I'm using firefox. The images only get cropped if I have the browser window rather small, but under most circumstances, they're viewable. Fab book, by the way.

i'm using Safari and the images aren't cropped. when i make the window smaller though it cuts off the right side edge because of the column on the right side of your blog, but i haven't had any trouble so far. =]
also, beautiful book! i think i might like the birds even better than the flowers.

These photos are delightful. They showed up fine for me, both in Google Reader and in a Firefox window!

I've got little Starling and Catbird up in my studio for company - they've been my companions in my last three work-rooms.

;)

I've never seen some of these other ladies + fellas!

If you like this, you have to see Isabella Rosselini's latest project on Sundance channel, called "Green Porno"... basically she dresses up like insects in short instructional videos on their reproductive cycle. You will laugh your feelers off, I promise. You can find them on YouTube.
