. . .
I don't know who these ladies are - I found their photos in a shirt box with some black construction paper photo albums that belonged to my grandmother. I'm guessing they must be old friends. I really like them though - and I really like that the pictures were probably considered mess-ups.

The first one is beautiful - with the draping and fading it is so ghost-like and ethereal.
I love happy mistakes, mess ups tend to be my favorites
I love those hats!
Great pictures.
These are great! Out of curiosity, what do you do to preserve to photos in old black paper albums? I have one that's falling to pieces, but I'm afraid to try and get the photos out-- they're pasted in, and I'm convinced they'll be damaged.
I love the hats too! I wish we still lived in a time of lovely hat-wearing! I'm like you too, I wish I knew who the people are in my great-grandmother's old pictures...

I love old photos so much!
So lovely! Even if they were "mess ups" back in the day, they're quite fun to look at now. I doubt people ever thought they'd be something that newer generations would be excited about! ;)

I just made a blog 2 days ago and I was wondering if you can check it out when you have time. Thanks!

what fanatics vintage treasures! I am obsessed with old photos
love the second one, the shoes and the casual poses are beautiful!
Those look so much like a bunch of pictures I recently found at my grandmother's house, right down to the coastal setting. It's strange and frustrating when old photos aren't labelled, and there's no way any more of knowing who the people are...
