Post Stoop-Sale and warm thank you's!

I just want to say thank you to everyone who came and bought things today! And I also want to say that there's a pile of things that didn't sell sitting by the side of our house ... so, come one come all!

Here are some photos from our day!

stoop sale

This is me! I found two aprons amidst the junk I was selling that I thought matched my dress quite nicely. I wore the brown one the first part of the day and switched over to the green for the rest of the afternoon. I decided to keep both.

oh that's me!

And my favorite part of the day was this really, really amazing dog. Named Beatrice I think? She was so sweet I want to take her to SF with me!

best dog!!

This is a picture of a picture that someone took with a polaroid camera I was selling. She bought the camera and left the picture!

my junk

Just so you know, I've marked a lot of stuff down in my etsy shop - things need to be outta there by Friday - and as the week progresses I'll be marking things down more and more..! so, if you wanna haggle on anything, that's totally fine! (although the romper and penguin dress prices I can't budge on)

yay! happy sunday!

Beatrice is the cutest name for a dog!!! If that's her name of course :o) I might have to name my first born daughter that...hehe!

I adore your dress and that apron! I'm sorry I wasn't able to stop by, but being in MD doesn't help any. Have a lovely night!

Wish I could have come to your sale, lots of fun things (love the vanity cases and that doctor's bag!). It seems like everyone here is moving too, I've never seen so many garage sales in Chicago in one weekend.

Hi Effy, is there any chance that wonderful brown suitcase on top is still there? Would you be willing to sell it online if it is? I do live in the UK so I totally understand if postage would be too much of a hassle.

Hello again, thanks for replying! I'm sure you already know but just to be certain, I did mean the light brown suitcase and not the gladstone. It's just you said bag and I got all in a muddle! So if that is leftover then I'm definitely interested, I've been admiring it on your blog for ages!

(ooh, by the by, I've been reading your blog for a really long time, but was always just too shy to comment. My new bloggy self is fearless, though! Drop by for a visit if you ever have a minute to spare!) All the best!

Thanks for offering such adorable goodies at your sale the other day! I love my "new old" magazine rack...it was just the thing I needed to replace an ugly wicker basket in the living room. :)

Good luck in San Fran...JP will miss you!

If I lived in New England, I would have been at your stoop sale. That boater looks fabulous!

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and I am happy to hear that such a chic lady will be joining us here in our foggy city.
