that is just the most stunning dress ever! it is like some sort of floaty hazy dream! where did you find it?

ps. I hope your birthday rocked! xx

anastasia: I found it at my favorite store in Boston! There's this little discoloration at the front of it, so it was fairly inexpensive! The stain is barely noticeable and totally worth it! It feels like such a dream when you're slipping it on! And yes, my birthday was awesome!!!!

jimena: haha, thanks.

belle: my boyfriend spent a little while working on it. you have to mess around with the coding in your layout.... I wish I could be more helpful but blogger doesn't make it easy! this might help a bit though: http://bloggermagz.blogspot.com/2007/09/selective-expandable-post-summaries.html

and sadly, it's not that dress. I waited too long (only a few days..) and some other lucky girl purchased it... I kept hoping it was someone I knew and had gotten it as a present for my birthday - but sadly, no such luck.

Other lucky girl: if for some reason you don't want that yellow dress - please, please, please let me know! I will buy it from you in a second!

Which store in Boston did you find it at? If you don't mind revealing trade secrets that is. It does look breathtaking.

and Emma, I found the dress at Cafe Society.

oooh, that dress is fantastic. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday present. Your style is hugely inspiring to me.

I'm in love with that dress! The colour is stunning and the lace detail.. (I'm lost for words!)

It would look gorgeous still in the fall under a thick cardigan. I wish I could have the eye to spot great vintage pieces like yours!

Beautiful! Both you and the dress, of course. Happy birthday.

thaaaank you!! thaaaank you for the sweet words!!!

voudrais: oh, that's such a lovely idea! I didn't even think of pairing it with a cardigan for fall! if only my hair was a bit longer, I'd wear it in braids and find myself a nice fisherman's cardigan for the early autumn!

penny: I ate brunch at my favorite restaurant and did a bit of shopping then went home for a little family birthday dinner, it was a perfect day!
