I've never been one for horses, which is funny because my mom used to compete when she was younger! But, after stumbling upon this book, I have a new soft spot! - or it might just be the pretty pastel watercolors, and the adorable cover.

They are quite dreamy illustrations.
I don't usually go for horses either but I have this painting of a horse's head done by my grandpa in the 70's that I can't help but display. I love it.
& my initials are at the bottom of each. bizarro :)
I love these, especially the first one. I've always rather liked horses, though.
Wonderful!
lovely!
hey, i am going to be in Boston (well Cambridge) the weekend of January 10th and 11th to see my all time fave (City and Colour), are any of those wonderful markets you usually participate in going to be happening?
i'm doubtful , but if per chance they were it would be the perfect oppotunity for me to check one out!
I love those colors! And the simplicity is lovely. I've always liked horses, though.
those illustrations are beautiful. i think horses are such handsome creatures!
stop looking at the books I scan!!
stop!
stop!
-Benny who scanned the book and not you.

These illustrations are wonderful, thank you for posting them. I also used to compete a couple of years ago, but now I haven't seen a horse for the longest time.
(PS, I had to link you in my blog, your photos and dresses are a small obsession of mine lately, I must admit).
lovely little blog, cute book and oh how i love ponies ... I am about to start (hopefully) a 'Love letters, I love letters' tuesday on my blog. As this post was inspired by fables/books (and my art is made from kids books) I thought you might be interested? I want cool, arty bloggers to post me a letter or postcard or something arty with words and each week i will profile them ... let me know if you are interested!!
I have seen the website www.saddleonline.com while searching internet and it has biggest collection of Horse Saddles, Leather Jackets, Apparel, Harness.
