little things

I was feeling really good about the new room, and then I fell asleep and woke up feeling like I was in some other girl's house. I think this is because all of the walls are bare (except for the little area above the suitcases) and it just feels strange. The old bedroom was the product of two years of compiling and collecting and stuffing, so this minimalism thing is a foreign concept to me.

Ah! Those trinkets and knick-knack are just even more beautiful up close! Yes, downsize is really hard, I know! :) My room is filled to the brim with stuff (some stuff I actually don't need!) Have a dandy day!

you store your little things beautifully. i do agree that bare walls can be so depressing, though!

Hello! I thought I would stop lurking about to let you know how much I enjoy your blog.
You have a certain aesthetic that makes me feel warm and it's comforting and wonderful to visit here. I think I have the same little owl. :)
Good luck with your room decorating!
Hope you don't mind me adding a link on my page! And sorry about the long, rambly comment!

I just can't stop staring at that needlepad (?) of yours. I need to find one, I feel like my life will be incomplete without one.

I am the exact same, moved into a large historic town house and have been attempting the whole minimalism thing which is very foreign to me! we will see. Yours is very nice, and wish you the best of luck.
