emily: they're little sewing samples I found in my gram's sewing chair! haha, collecting is fun - but it's a bad thing for me! I have too much stuff on in my room and I always feel like if I see something for the collection at flea markets and antique stores I HAVE to get it!
i totally get what you mean though..gosh i used to be so bad, keeing everything! but as long as you keep it kind of to groups of things to collect and dislay them nicly, its really not bad. and its a nice hobbie! i love things that i feel has a story behind them. and i like that my ownership can be a chapter in that little knick-knacks life.
Emily, I totally wish that there was some way to watch a little biography for each little knick-knack or clothing item you come across. Seriously, how amazing would it be to see the first owner, and how many different hands it passed through before making it to you! I feel the same way for clothing and shoes - especially shoes!
Betty lou: that sounds lovely! Do you use the frames/albums? I'd love to see some photos, especially of the albums - I feel like there are some great ones out there, but I never have much luck in finding them!
some of the frames but not the albums, i haven't decided yet what kind of photos to put in. i have pictures of them somewhere, i can post in my blogg tomorrow.

i collect vintage photoframes too, and unused vintage photo albums :D
