Flower study, formerly in an album

I wasn't planning anymore posts here (except for when the new site was ready) ... but these water colors by Dutch painter, Jan van Huysum are too beautiful not to share.

Oh goodness. Thank you for these. They're even better large on the BM site. I adore botanical paintings and drawings. I hope you've got yourself a copy of the Cabinet of Curiosities. It's a gorgeous book which I think you might enjoy.
