Fall has finally settled into San Francisco.. at least I think this is Fall? I don't know, living on the West Coast this past year has totally messed my internal clock up. Either way, I'm feeling pretty uninspired by clothing lately. Instead of worrying about dresses and blouses and shoes and bags I've been thinking about my apartment and finding myself a little more interested in interior photos then usual..

A friend of mine forwarded this article to me and I've been thinking about it ever since. That first image is just amazing right?! Then I saw the photos from this Vogue Spain spread and the two seemed to fit so perfectly together. I sort of wish I could photoshop the model out of the pictures because the rooms are so pretty all on their own.

WOW...amazing settings. From what I've seen, your living space(s) seem to have a more refined, clean, and elegant version of the aesthetic in these images going on. LOVE.

Those photos are beautiful. An attic in wartime. I've always wanted to live somewhere like that. x

I agree about the rooms being amazing enough on their own, especially the first one!! I would love to base my home on these, they're beautiful, thanks for sharing!

The first image is Gorgeous! This completely inspired me. I'm moving out soon so I can start from scratch. I know what you mean about being unispired by clothes lately, for me at least, the rain and grey days in L.A. are no fun : ( I want Summer back!

I'm feeling your new blog header, it's very pretty :)

I've always loved crochetd lace and soft subtle fabrics... shame those are the most expensive ones! I'll just have to stick to Ikea bright cottons for my interiors for now...

They are pretty amazing... but remind me in a scary way of a girl I used to live with who was a massive pack rat. We lived in the dustiest house imaginable.

Also - love the new banner!! Did you draw it?

Oooh... The aesthetic of these interiors is amazing! I have to admit, I tend to go for that artistically eclectic mish-mash of things in my decoration; though much, much cleaner. ;) lol. So inspiring! I've been in a bit of a nesting mood lately too, and tweaking a few things around the apartment has been top on my list!

uh, yes and yes! love grey gardens and i love these interiors. the first one totally reminds me of photos of your old bedroom in MA.

who knows, maybe your images have been "influencing" stylists all over, you know other than anthropologie...

Oh wow! That article sounds little bit like the mystery of Huguette Clark, heiress of the millionaire William A. Clark. Her apartment in Manhattan has been empty for decades, and rumours say that no-one knows where she is. Apparently she is in hospital.
Photos are very beautiful and interesting. I think model makes interesting contras on them, although rooms still are very pretty on their own.
