There are two stores in two adorable towns that have stolen my heart... This particular one is The Lamp Shop in Burlington, VT
I've been in love with this store for the past five years and finally mustered up the courage to ask one of the shop girls if I could take photographs!!
The Lamp Shop repairs and sells vintage lights. They also sell all sorts of flea market and estate sale finds you only wish you could have stumbled upon first! And it's on Pine Street, which is the best street in Burlington - so that's wonderful too!
(If you end up on Pine Street make sure to check out Recycle North, Great Harvest, and Battery Street Jeans !

How lovely! I will have to check it out, it's not too far from me!
my BF has been promising to take me to Burlington forever...Now the wait will be even harder.
Oh it's so gorgeous! You seriously need to have been born at least 50 years ago...
i grew up in vt! it was always a huge deal to drive into burlington, and pine st was one of my favorite places to go....burlington has changed a lot since i was a teenager, and though i hate that now we have things like american apparel and gap, i do love the increase in thrift stores and places like the lamb shop....when i was a kid all you could get in burlington was hiking equipment and insence..
punk: definitely stop by pine street! Recycle North, Battery Street Jeans, Great Harvest, and The Lamp Shop are all on the same side of the street! There's also a good record store across the street from Battery Street Jeans!
catherine: I'm not familiar with the Lamb Shop! Where and what is it?
typo of the lamp shop. forgive me my rusty english and inexperince with my new internation keyboard....but now that we're chatting, do you go to b-town a lot? i have not been home in a really long time, since battery st jeans was down by the waterfront on battery st, in fact....i hope it still has it's old charm!
xx
