Welcomed Distractions

Packing is a truly miserable experience... especially towards the end of it. But, I do appreciate finding all the things I've lost, or just totally forgotten about.. These detachable collars and 20s boudoir sashes are all things I had carefully tucked away in my closet.... A most welcomed distraction from playing moving box Tetris finding just the right spot for every little thing.

    Wow what a beautiful 're-find'. I always get really guilty when that happens to me, probably because I realise have far to much stuff. Those collars are so so beautfiful, especially the pink ruffle and the crochet.

    These are just so beautiful, I love detatchable collars, I was thinking just today about how I need some more odds and ends in my sewing box!

    what a gorgeous collection! I just reorganized my wardrobe and had a similar experience sorting through old scarves, hats and wraps.

    I completely sympathise with you, moving is the worst! Moving twice this year made me seriously begin to question why I own so much 'stuff'! Where am I supposed to put it all? But in the end some things you just can't give away :) Good luck with your move, I can't believe you're heading all the way across the country! Epic!
