In California

Guuuh, I'm so behind in keeping things updated over here. It's so cold in MA and I feel like I'm buried under too much snow with the flaky/dry skin only a New England Winter can give you.. It seems strange posting these photos from an awesome pretend Summer afternoon hang out a few weeks ago.. But it's nice to look back on these pictures because the weather really was perfect that day - and it's always awesome getting to walk around the city with Sonja!!

The last picture is my favorite joker pose. I feel like I've been getting increasingly more awkward in front of a camera - the easiest way to handle that is by acting like a true dumb dumb. Usually with my eyes closed and my hair covering my face. It's like I'm 9 years old all over again.

  2. Dang it you guys, I wanna come walk around the City in fake summer with you! I am seriously about to lose my mind here in NY, I can't believe we have to get through stinkin' February still...wasn't January punishment ENOUGH??

  5. Ha, I like your method of dealing with awkward posing (though it doesn't look too awkward to me!). Usually I think I've done a great job and look sexay, but when I see the shots I realise my face is chipmunk chubby and my shoulders are hunched. Love your gorgeous lace dress btw x

  10. You guys are just beyond adorable... And I'll echo everyone else's sentiments: I want to come walking around the City with the pair of you! (Also, is that dress vintage? It reminds me a bit of one of the dresses from the Anna Sui for Target line. Either way, so pretty!)

  11. Thanks for all the sweet words about the dress!
It's from the 60s - I picked it up at a vintage store in Oakland - Down at LuLu's !

And I'd totally love if every afternoon in San Francisco was that perfect - and for all y'all to come strolling with us !!!

  15. You guys are so cute! And I'm jealous of your faux summer. I wish it was possible here, but I think that would mean hell has come to Detroit if it happened. Love both your looks!

  18. Well, I actually envy you. Here in Madrid, this winter has been really boring, without any snow. I like cold and I miss it so much in Summer, when you can't go out until 10 o'clock at night because of the extreme hot. I suppose it depends on what you are used to. I love your dress, but would prefer to wear it on Winter, because I could combine it with tights, scarfs, hats and maybe a huge trench, so that it seemed to be diferent every day. Anyway, your dress is awesome anytime.
