spring time presents

I have been wanting something from Built By Wendy ever since my high school days... Every collection I find myself himmin' and hawin' over each piece, but I never end up buying anything. Yesterday I saw my boyfriend after he'd been in New York for a few days and when I saw a Built By Wendy bag in his hand it took all I had in me to stay cool and not start jumping around!

I love the peter pan collar and the little string bow at the neck. The color is perfect too! I'm sure it'll be making an appearance in Wardrobe Remix at some point, but for now I need to find just the right skirt to wear with it!
(I am completely tempted to buy the skirt they show it with, but I'm sure I can come up with something equally lovely on my own.... gingham though, it always steals my heart!)

He also visited Lyell this weekend and with the help of those adorable girls picked out this skirt for me



Unfortunately it wasn't the right size...BUT - there are plans in the works to visit the city this weekend, so hopefully I can exchange it for the right size .... or maybe for this..



or these shorts..

    Oh wow! The top is lovely, and it looks really good with the blue skirt... I love that big check pattern on the other skirt too. And the third skirt... what amazing presents!

    oh wow thats a hard choice. when i saw the bodysuit i was gonna say of yess deff exchange for that! but when seeing those shorts..thats terribly hard to choose. and i have never heard of that store! i want to go right now! even though its almost midnight! eek.

    Pretty blouse, and kitty! I feel the exact same way about BBWendy, I have literally been wanting something since high school but I've never been able to swing it. Someday!

    Really wonderful pieces. If you can't exchange for the right size, any of the other choices would be perfect too. the BBWendy top is awesome, and I really, really like the gingham skirt with the large pattern!

    I have never heard of thoe shops before. I also live in a corn field... It seems everyone has a boyfriend but no one posts photos of them. I say we all do soon.
    There are so many beautiful things to wear and it seems you own most of them.
